About Me Section & Why Choose The Ashton Effect ?
I’m Faye Ashton, founder of The Ashton Effect. After more than 23 years leading in the charity sector, including at CEO level for many years, I know the realities of running purpose‑driven organisations: the constant juggle of strategy, funding, people, and impact. I’ve lived the challenges my clients face, and I bring that real‑world understanding into every piece of consultancy I deliver.
Alongside my wider leadership experience, I have strong specialist expertise in Community Transport. I’ve led a charity to achieve three national awards for excellence in this field, and I am also a fully qualified CPC Transport Manager. My background includes securing significant partnership funding and managing large, diverse volunteer teams — experience that has shaped my practical, people‑centred approach to organisational development.
The Ashton Effect exists to help charities, social enterprises, and community projects move forward with clarity and confidence. I don’t believe in quick fixes or generic advice. Instead, I offer tailored support that empowers organisations to thrive, whether that’s through strategic planning, fundraising, governance, or building stronger teams.
Clients choose The Ashton Effect because they want more than consultancy; they want a partner who listens, understands, and provides practical solutions that last. My approach is collaborative and confidence‑building. I work alongside you, not above you, ensuring that your organisation grows stronger, more resilient, and better equipped to deliver lasting community impact.
When you work with The Ashton Effect, you gain:
Strategic insight that aligns your mission, vision, and values.
Operational clarity that strengthens governance, finance, and people management.
Tailored support in fundraising, bid writing, and impact measurement.
Confidence and capacity to lead with purpose and deliver meaningful change.
Outside of my work, I’m passionate about motorcycles and travel, experiences that keep me grounded, curious, and always ready for the next adventure. That same sense of exploration and momentum shapes the energy I bring to every organisation I support.
